Mortimer Barten – Techno DJ, Live Performer, Producer
I'm Mortimer Barten – a techno DJ and live performer with over 15 years of experience on club and festival dance floors. My sets are all about driving grooves, powerful energy, and uncompromising peak-time techno – sometimes melodic, sometimes dark, but always clearly focused on the dance floor.
My sound is inspired by the early techno era and blends classic elements with modern influences to create my own style: Fusion Techno. I've released several tracks and am constantly working on new productions and live releases.
In addition to DJ sets, I perform a hybrid live act with a compact setup of hardware synthesizers, controllers, and a laptop – using only my own material. The result is an energetic, direct performance: Techno – but live.
As an Ableton Certified Trainer and founder of a local Ableton User Group (since 2018), I'm also deeply rooted in the scene and technically highly skilled – both in the studio and on stage.
I believe in music as a true connection: listening, feeling, dancing – that's exactly why I play.
